Civil Aircraft Spare Parts Prediction and Configuration Management Techniques: Review and Prospect

Spare parts are treated as the basis to guarantee safe and economic operation of civil aircraft, its scientific prediction reasonable configuration play an important role in perfecting integrated logistics support (ILS) achieving win-win situation stakeholders (e.g. manufacturers, operators, maintenance providers). This paper studies existing spare methods discusses future development trend from perspective configuration, respectively. The current status aircraft techniques firstly introduced, according demand characteristics parts; present research then elaborated, based on traditional machine learning methods; is finally analyzed, combined with advantages disadvantages management methods. efforts this work provide a reference for comprehensive improve perfection degree ILS aircraft.
